Sunday Sessions

I am going to start this new piece on my blog called Sunday Sessions.  Welcome to my first one!  We are less than 3 weeks till it’s “officially” Spring!! YAY

This is my new piece where I will dish a little bit about myself: maybe something that inspires me, something that makes my life a little bit easier, something that I am currently drooling over (probably a pair of heels), or just another photo of my baby girl, that I am obsessed with.  Sorry I won’t kill you with that.  I do enough of that on Instagram!!

Right now, I am currently in love with inspiring quotes.  I find myself  scouring all over Pinterest lately, searching for the best Boards and Pins!  Here are a few gems I just found! Follow @Beauxoxo 🙂  Here is their Wise Words Board I’m loving.

What’s your favorite piece of advice that keeps you inspired and moving and motivated?  I’m finding that as I am experiencing being a new mother, trying to be a better wife, making time for myself, and working hard for that next big break at work, I need to keep the positive thoughts flowing through my mind.  How about you?

Check out my Inspiration Board too!

The Pure Mexican Maragarita

With Cinco De Mayo quickly approaching, I only found it appropriate to post this wonderful cocktail recipe called: The Pure Mexican Maragarita from theKitchn.com.

Pure Mexican Margarita

Serves 2

2 ounces (1/4 cup) tequila
1 ounce (2 tablespoons) freshly squeezed lime juice
3/4 ounce (1 tablespoon plus 1 1/2 teaspoons) agave nectar or 1/2 ounce (1 tablespoon) Simple Syrup
3/4 ounce (1 tablespoon plus 1 1/2 teaspoons) cold water
1 slice lime (sliced crosswise into a wheel)
3 tablespoons kosher salt, optional

Shake the tequila, lime juice, agave nectar, and water vigorously with ice and strain into a chilled rocks glass or coupe filled with ice. Garnish with the wheel of lime.

Optional garnish: before filling the glass with ice, moisten the rim and dip it in a dish of kosher salt.

ENJOY THIS AMAZING MARGARITA!  I know I will be this Cinco De Mayo

Cheers!

Wear what you want-true words

thatkindofwoman:

You shouldn’t care what anyone thinks about what you wear. But, just make sure that when you clothe and layer yourself you do so in a manner that reflects who you are. Not who people think you are, or who people assume you to be. Not in the things that are fads or trends. Wear what you want to wear because you feel good in it. Because it’s not about them, it never was, and never will be. It’s about you and what you love, and what suits you. It’s what makes you feel like what you wear suits who’s inside.

As long as you wear what other’s expect you to, you are just wearing it for the everyday, why not wear it for you. Style isn’t fashion. Style is you, wearing what you want and everyone else be damned.
